When I was 10 years old I discovered the magical world of music and guitar when I heard "Wonderwall" by Oasis on the radio. From then on the direction of my life was clear: I had to pursue music! After high-school I went to the Conservatory in Rotterdam for a year after which I quickly joined the professional Dutch rock band Intwine. During the years when I was a guitar player in that band I experienced how what it meant to be a professional musician and I was living the dream! Now my focus has shifted to working in my own studio and creating amazing guitar tones is my passion. An important goal of mine is also to take YOU, the viewer along with the journey and hopefully inspire others to create cool music and wonderful tones! Maybe you'll discover some amazing pieces of gear along the way too ;)

People ask me sometimes about how I create my impulse responses and amp captures. The short version of my answer would be that firstly the goal is always to create sounds that replicate and represent the real analog gear as accurately as possible. I aim for sounds that are honest but also ready to go, meaning that they should fit the mix well but also feel good under the fingers and are pleasing to the ear.
